where are you?

英語レッスンの２日目。今日は Where の使い方について。ものがどこにあるかを聞く時は Where's the book? It's on the desk. といった感じ。時計やボードみたいに壁に掛かっているものでも on the wall. と on を使うのは何故？と思いきや、壁を90度倒すと上にのってることになるでしょうだそうだ。少々強引だが、まあそういうことらしい。
次は人がどこにいるのかを聞くとき。自分の居場所を聞かれたときは、 Where are you? I'm in the kitchen. 複数人を聞かれたときは、 Where are you? We're in the living room. 他の誰かの居場所を聞かれた時は They're in the living room. といった感じになる。
